The CENTRAL Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at four places two days after an FIR was registered against the commandant, central reserve police force. The case against the officer, Neeraj Kumar Pandey, was registered two days ago at the Lucknow branch of the CBI.

A Central Police Reserve Force (CRPF) officer was killed on Sunday after militants opened fire in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The CRPF assistant sub-inspector Vinod Kumar was injured in the attack. He was shifted to a hospital but succumbed to injuries.
