Counterfeit drugs tainted with substances including fentanyl and methamphetamine. Drug enforcement administration reported counterfeit prescriptions sold on both sides of the border. Officials said counterfeit medication could prove to be ineffective or the wrong strength.
The Russian Embassy in the United States has issued a statement in response to the State Department's statement on the global isolation of Moscow. The statement came after US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said that Russia has been economically, politically, diplomatically and financially isolated from the rest of the world. Ned Price asserted that the US warned their actions if Russia went ahead with their intention to launch an offensive in Ukraine.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken appealed to the government leaders to act quickly to seek long-term solutions. Blinken, a State Department Spokesperson, said the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa should come with a commitment to the betterment of the nation and added the decision should not be focused on securing profit for any political party.
