US warns about fake, dangerous pills being sold in Mexico
The state department issued a travel alert about counterfeit pills being sold at pharmacies in Mexico that often contain fentanyl. A study found 68% of the 40 pharmacies visited in four northern Mexico cities sold Oxycodone, Xanax or Adderall. The counterfeit pills represent a serious overdose risk to buyers.
